What is the probability that HBAR will attain $5 at any point in the future? I am a young investor, and I don’t mind waiting 5, 10, or even 15 years for my investment to mature. I ask because I’ve seen many posts on Reddit saying that HBAR would reach $3 by the end of 2021, then they said $5 by the end of 2022. But here we are in 2024, and the price is only 10¢.
What do you think? Is it realistic to believe HBAR can reach $5, or is it just wishful thinking? I’d love to hear your thoughts and insights on this.
Yes, I have no doubt that HBAR will reach $5. Even Leemon Baird has said that the world will be running on Hedera. Even if only part of the world adopts Hedera, HBAR could still hit $5.
Progress might seem slow to investors, but this is normal. Developing new technologies can take years, and it often takes even longer for companies to adopt them, possibly 5-10 years or more. There are several phases to this process: awareness and education, technical integration, regulatory considerations, market dynamics, and proof of value.
Patience is key. As these phases progress, the adoption of Hedera’s technology will likely increase, and HBAR’s value will rise accordingly.
When the price of HBAR finally starts to break out, I believe it will happen fast. It’s just a matter of time until more major use cases are launched and significant events, such as tokenizing shares of BlackRock’s money market fund on Hedera, occur.
As of now, Hedera may be overlooked and even ignored in the crypto world, but this won’t be the case forever. Eventually, Hedera will expand so significantly that it propels HBAR to a top 10 market cap position, making it a household name in both the crypto and investment worlds.
The potential for HBAR to reach 3 to 5 dollars is rooted in its technology and the growing recognition of its capabilities. As adoption increases and more real-world assets are tokenized on the platform, the value of HBAR will continue to rise. Maybe this might take another 5 years, but I think it is probable to say that HBAR will reach $2 within 2 years.
Right now, HBAR is uniquely positioned for mass adoption, making the $5 mark a realistic goal. It’s only a matter of time until people recognize Ethereum’s centralization and inefficiencies, such as high transaction fees and slow processing times. As these issues become more apparent, Hedera will likely become a hot topic as startups and enterprises flock to its superior technology. Hedera’s fast, secure, and scalable platform is ideal for real-world applications, and as awareness grows, so will HBAR’s value.
